Pre-requisites
This course is for those who already have experience working in the electrical industry and who are directly responsible (or looking to become responsible) for the safety of electronics in their workplace.
Applicants must be 16 or over.
Course Structure and Assesment method
Course Length
Candidates are expected to attend our Kirkintilloch or Kilmarnock centres for Theory and Practical Learning for one day between 9 am and 5 pm.
Assessment Method
The 1-Day PAT Testing Course in Glasgow covers theoretical and practical skills for safely inspecting and maintaining portable electrical appliances. The exam includes:
- Written Test: Demonstrate knowledge of key concepts and safety procedures.
- Practical Assessment: Inspect and test various appliances, showing competence with PAT equipment and safety protocols.
A strong grasp of course material and hands-on practice is essential for success in both areas of the exam.
